Janet Sue Hinkle, age 75, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 9:16pm at the Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born on July 16, 1942 in Hardin County, Ohio to Bernard and Lamont (Lingrel) Armstrong, both of whom are deceased. She married Jimmy Lee Hinkle on July 14, 1963 and he survives.
Sue is survived by three daughters: Shawn R. (Chuck) Pahl of Upper Sandusky, Lisa Clements of Upper Sandusky, and Laura (Scott) Morris of Harpster. Six grandchildren: Lana, Candace, Korde, Eden, Hope, and Noah, and four great grandchildren: Harrison, Lyla, Weston and Logan. Along with a brother Robert (Lee) Armstrong of Columbus, a brother in law, W.E. Bright of Marysville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Martha Ann Bright, and a brother Stephen Armstrong who died in infancy.
Sue worked for 32 years at the former Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky retiring in 2001.
For hobbies she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and cooking, and was known as a sports fanatic, especially with the OSU Buckeyes Football Team, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Her greatest love was her family, and she cherished the years she was blessed to be with them.
Visitations for Janet Sue Hinkle will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
Private graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.
