Rick embraced life and lived every moment to its fullest. He cherished his family and provided well for them. A well-rounded, grounded man who was as content with his chainsaw and tools as he was comfortable with a book or newspaper. He was proud of his community but also loved to travel. I am privileged to have known him all my life. Rick will be deeply missed.

Many years ago I worked with Rick in produce. I often thought of visiting him in later years, but never got around to it. I guess you should act on your impulses.
