Patrick William Seamans, Ph.D., age 72, of Los Angeles, California, and most recently of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:13 am at Bridge Hospice in Findlay, Ohio.
Patrick was born on February 9, 1952 in Munich, Germany, to William A. and Francine (Latapy-Bourtayre) Seamans, both of whom are deceased. He is survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Josette Lucas, and Margaret Brunner, and a brother Pierre Bourtayre.
Patrick was an Independent Research Professional in International Education and Architecture in Los Angeles.
His educational journey started at BGSU until his third year, transferring to University of California, Berkley, graduating with a B.A. in Architecture. He went on to get his Masters in Architecture from the University of California, Berkley. Patrick then received his M.S. in Bilingual Education from USC, a M.S. in International Public Affairs, and his Ph.D. in International Educational Policy, both from USC.
For hobbies Patrick enjoyed art, photography, reading, and traveling the world.

Graveside services for Patrick W. Seamans were held on, Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Oak Hill Cemetery with Father Savio Manavalan OFM Conv. officiating.
