Opal J. Williams, age 82, of Harpster, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 9:03am at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Opal was born on July 5, 1937 in Wakefield, Ohio to Sant and Elizabeth (Sisco) Dingus, both of whom are deceased. She married Charles Williams on February 11, 1956 and he survives.
She is survived by her 2 children: Phillip Williams of Upper Sandusky, and Jody (Logan Hodge) Barot of Harpster. 2 grandchildren Melanie Barot and Shawna (TJ) Russo and 2 great grandchildren, Aundre and Juletta.
Opal is also survived by a 2 brothers Harry (Connie) Dingus of Harpster, and Sant (Vickie) Dingus of Forest.
Opal was a homemaker and a member of the Eagles Lodge #2184 and Moose Lodge #1093, both in Upper Sandusky.
For hobbies she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking, listening to Blue Grass and sitting outside and watching the birds.
Funeral services for Opal J. Williams will be held at 11:00am Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will be at Little Sandusky Cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, July 8, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
