Estella Stever Obituary

Estella I. Stever, age 81, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at her residence in Upper Sandusky surrounded by her family.

 

Estella was born on February 8, 1939 in Carey, Ohio to Raymond and Dorcas (Ritter) Plott, both of whom are deceased.  She married Roger Stever on March 13, 1965 and he passed away on December 22, 1988.

 

She is survived by 8 children: Patricia (Larry) Hushour of Sycamore, Harold  D. (Bobbie) Stever of Sycamore, Donna (Alan) Craig of Lakeview, Kimberly (John) Ward-Hillman of Lima, Katie (Harold) Ward-Caudill of Upper Sandusky, Rita (David) Ward-Lear of Sycamore, Rena (Tom) Dillion of Upper Sandusky, and Stanley (Amy) Stever of Marion.  21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren also survive.

 

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Raymond Plott and a sister, Marilyn Barnett.

 

She was a homemaker and also had worked at the former Budd Company in Carey for 31 years. 

 

Stella was a Kairos ministry supporter, and in her retirement enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services for Estella Stever will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky   Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio.

 

Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

 

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County, or the Kairos Prison Ministry and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH., 43351.
