David L. Barb

David L. Barb, age 60, of Marion, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 7:21am in the Emergency Room of Marion General Hospital, Marion.

David was born on August 14, 1960 in Ravenna, Ohio to Richard A. and Vera I. (Knox) Barb, both of whom are deceased.  He married Susan Prince on April 11, 1999 and she survives.

He is survived by a daughter Diana (Nathan) Dewiel of Marion, and a son David Barb of Massillon, Ohio. 2 step-daughters, Barbi (Jarrod Manley) Redman, and Brandi (Joe) King, both of Upper Sandusky.  4 grandchildren, Kensley and Rowan Barb, Cambrie Burkholder, and Braxten Lohr.

David is also survived by a sister Debra (Bob) Kruger of Peninsola, Ohio, and a brother in law Larry Angel of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Steve and a sister Cathy Angel.

David worked for the past 15 years at USY in Marion in the material service department.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

For hobbies David enjoyed following the Indians and especially the Cleveland Browns where he was a season ticket holder.  He enjoyed playing Call of Duty and loved the Christmas season, where he often played Santa.  He enjoyed taking care of his 4 legged babies, Molly and Zoe.

Funeral services for David L Barb will be private.
