Frances Mae Vuletich, age 78, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 4:30am at the Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.
Frances was born on April 28, 1941, in Carey, Ohio, to Delmar H. and Helen M. (Austin) Grubel, both of whom are deceased. She married George Vuletich on June 4, 1967, and he died on December 2, 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Milicia (Anand) Patil of Westerville, Ohio, and a son, John (Sandy) Vuletich of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and three grandchildren, George Patil, Josephine Patil, and Patric Vuletich.
Frances is also survived by 3 brothers, Edward (Diane) Grubel of La Center, Washington, Vernon (Ruthann) Grubel of Carey, Ohio, Paul (Rosa) Grubel of Atlanta, Georgia, and a sister in law, Pam Grubel of Bucyrus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Ralph.
Frances graduated from Carey High School in 1959. She attended Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing, in Salem, Ohio, where she earned her Practical Nursing degree in 1965. In 1983 she graduated from Marion Technical College with an Associate Degree in Nursing, and then attended Franklin University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1985. She later attended Central Michigan University and graduated in 1997 with her Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration. She retired in March 2019 as a registered nurse, where she had primarily worked in long term care.
Frances was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, and a member of the Warpole Chapter of OES and the former William Myers Chapter in McCutchenville. She was also a member of the Ohio Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and the NRA.
For hobbies, Frances enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and sewing.
Funeral services for Frances will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at 3:00pm at John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky and will be officiated by Reverend Betsy Bowen and Doug Pummell.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, 1 hour prior to the funeral service, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at John Steward United Methodist Church, as well as following the funeral service in the Family Life Center.
