Daniel R. Caldwell, age 44, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Daniel was born on August 2, 1974 in Upper Sandusky, to Will Sr. and Highley (Wireman) Caldwell, both of whom are deceased. He was once married to Delena Jones, and then met his special companion Nikki Morris, who has been by his side for the last 25 years.
He is survived by his 3 daughters: Highley (Victor) Rinker of Nevada, Danielle Caldwell and Taylor Caldwell, both of Upper Sandusky. 2 grandchildren, Jaxson Caldwell and Addyson Lay.
Daniel is also survived by his 4 brothers, Terry Neal of Rosman, North Carolina, Mark (Helen) Caldwell of Marion, and Will Jr. (Jodi) Caldwell of Upper Sandusky, Bill (Heather) Eigel of Arcadia, and 2 sisters: Charlotte (James Jr.) Penwell of Kenton, and Dena (Terry) Madaris of Moody, Alabama, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Donna Stowe.
Daniel was a member of the 1320 Race Club, and also coached Co-Ed Softball and T & T Girls Softball Teams, all in Upper Sandusky.
His hobbies included softball, drag racing, traveling and working on his cars.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 13, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
