Sarah Marie Compton

Sarah Marie Compton, age 35 of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 8:45am at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

She was born on October 16, 1980 in Marion, Ohio.  Her father, Vernon (Judy) Wall survive in Paca City, Oklahoma, and mother,  Lauren (Michael) Logsdon-Bush, survive in Upper Sandusky.  She married David Compton on October 29, 2011 and he survives.

Sarah is survived by 2 step sons, Dominic Compton of Carey, and David Compton Jr. of Upper Sandusky, a sister Annette Wall of Bowling Green, a step brother Timothy Bush of Kenton, step sister Justina Bush of Kenton. 

Also surviving is paternal grandmother, Loretta Wall of Grayson, Kentucky, maternal step grandparents, Richard and Sue Bush of Crestline, and her mother in law, Gail (Joel) Searls of Upper Sandusky, along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sarah was a 1999 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and worked for Walmart in Upper Sandusky.  She also had worked at the former Tasty Pastry in Upper. 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Janet Logsdon, paternal grandfather, Bob Wall.

Sarah loved loved nature and animals, going fishing, and playing bingo.

Funeral services for Sarah Marie Compton will be held at 1:00pm Monday, August 15 at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Monday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County or the Oncology Department of Wyandot Memorial Hospital and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
