Marilyn Seaman Obituary

Marilyn J. Seaman, age 76, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and formerly of Drummond Island, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 4:05pm at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

 

Marilyn was born on December 31, 1941 in Tiffin, Ohio to John D. and Betty J. (Hehr) Miller, both of whom are deceased.  She married Byron H. Seaman on June 14, 1987, and he survives.

 

She is survived by children: Mary M. Needles, Donnie H. Needles, Jr., David L. Seaman, Byron H. Seaman, Jr., Evelyn Seaman, along with 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

 

Marilyn is also survived by her siblings: Joyce Thackery, Debra Fidel, John Miller Jr., Ronnie Miller, Penny Hirneise, Christine Vent and Phyllis Bennett.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son: William E. Seaman.

 

Marilyn was a licensed real estate agent and also served as an office manager for an agency, having worked in Michigan, Arkansas and Arizona, and also managed apartments. 

 

She was a former member of the Drummond Island Congregational Church before moving to Upper Sandusky. 

 

For hobbies, Marilyn enjoyed playing Yahtzee, card games, cribbage, and bingo.

 

Private funeral services for Marilyn J. Seaman will be held on Wednesday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.  Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

 

There will be no public visitation.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky. Ohio, 43351.
