Glenna Walters Obituary

Glenna Marie Walters, better known as “Grammy,” went home to her Lord & Savior on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

She was born on May 22, 1926 in Lima, Ohio to Edgar Leroy & Gertrude (Jones) Fisher.  Growing up in Lima with 3 brothers and 6 sisters helped mold Glenna into the special loving person she was, always with a kind word of encouragement for each life she touched.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight Walters, her sisters, Edna Fisher, Jeanette Young, Susie Stephenson, Juanita Budd, Eleanor Lepley, & Betty Ruckel, brothers; Bob Fisher and Ed Fisher, daughter Rebecca Ann Walters, and granddaughter, Michelle Lynne Forry.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Fisher of Delphos, Ohio; many special nieces and nephews; and her children, Dennis (Sophie) Walters of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Marsha (Gary) Forry, Morral, Ohio, Karen (Allan) Webb, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Larry (Marijane) Walters, Anna, Ohio, Nancy (John) Cordle, Pataskala, Ohio, and Pamela (Ed) Reed, Cardington, Ohio.

Grammy’s life was further enriched by the love of 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.  Relying on her faith and trust in Jesus, she spent her lifetime as an inspiration and encourager for all of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
